Details

Ken Kreisel invented the world's first powered subwoofer (active subwoofer) in 1977. After decades of research and development, Ken Kreisel still produces the most state-of-the-art and excellent-sounding subwoofers in the world. The DXD-300 uses the same high-quality components as the flagship DXD-1000 but is more compact. It provides a lightning-fast transient response and extremely low distortion and delivers the best possible music and movies experience.

The DXD300 has two versions, the DXD300A with the driver unit facing downward and DXD300B with the driver unit facing upward. The A and B versions provide the same performance when used as a single subwoofer. They can also be stacked and form a dual-subwoofer configuration. The 3D Push-Pull-Pulsar technology would double the bass output, and the height would reduce the standing wave problem and reproduce bass more evenly. Ken Kreisel suggests stacking up to four subwoofers to improve performance. This feature offers great versatility to fit different spaces.

A complete Ken Kreisel system requires the satellite speakers and the subwoofers to both participate in sound reproduction. The system can minimize weak bass, incorrect phase, and baffle diffraction distortions often found in conventional full-range systems. Every listening room is different and has a significant influence on sound quality. With the Ken Kreisel satellite/subwoofer system, you can easily locate the satellites at the best place for imaging and the subwoofers at the best position for strong bass. The high flexibility and the smooth integration of Ken Kreisel subwoofers and satellites enable one to achieve the best possible sound in any room, resulting in an open, natural three-dimensional sound.
